Our Firm is Working to Help Our Youth and Our Community
Lewis & Daggett has been recognized by the North Carolina Governor's Highway Safety Program for our "Safe Sober Prom Night" program, which we started in 1991. We were awarded the Jake Alexander Public Service Award for this project in which more than thirty thousand high school students have pledged not to use alcohol or drugs. Presented in conjunction with the North Carolina Drug and Drunk Driving Prevention Month, this prestigious award recognizes an adult or organization which has voluntarily and effectively implemented an anti-DWI (Driving While Impaired by Alcohol or Drugs) program within the community. Lewis & Daggett was awarded the coveted American Bar Association Award for Dignity in Lawyer Advertising for our sponsorship of "Safe Sober Prom Night." We appreciate all the attention that has been focused on this worthy cause. There is nothing more important to us than helping our area high school students stay safe and sober.
