Griff is a Partner with Lewis & Daggett and has been with the firm since January 2000. He is a Board Certified Specialist in Workers’ Compensation Law. He concentrates his practice in workers’ compensation claims and complex third party cases. Griff enjoys educating injured workers regarding their legal rights. He regularly gives seminars on issues involving workers' compensation cases.
Griff is a member of the North Carolina Academy of Trial Lawyers and the North Carolina Bar Association. He was elected to serve on the North Carolina Bar Association Workers’ Compensation Section Council. He is also a member of the national Workers Injury Law & Advocacy Group.
Prior to joining Lewis & Daggett, Griff worked for over five years as an associate attorney with his primary practice areas being workers' compensation, social security disability, personal injury, civil litigation, business litigation, real estate, contracts, criminal law, and traffic law.
Griff received his law degree from Wake Forest University School of Law. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science/History, Magna cum laude, from King College in Bristol, Tennessee, where he was a scholarship athlete on the soccer team. Griff was a two-time Academic All-American and a two-time All-District performer while playing forward for the King squad. He also served as Co-Captain for the team during his senior year.

Personal Interests Griff enjoys sports, travel, and music. He is active in his church and presently serves as an Elder and as an adult Sunday School teacher. He has also been a part of several church committees. He and his wife, Julie, have one daughter, Perrin. |
