ADMINISTRATIVE STAFF

Stephen L. Hamilton
Stephen has been with Lewis & Daggett since 2002. In his role as Network Administrator, Stephen takes care of all the technology needs of the firm including the servers, computers, printers and phone system. His work ensures that we are able to serve our clients as quickly and efficiently as possible. Stephen graduated from N.C. A&T State University with a BS in Computer Science and is currently working on his Cisco Certification from Forsyth Tech.

Kenneth Haynes
As the law firm's investigator, Ken’s primary responsibilities include locating and interviewing witnesses, preparing detailed documentation of those interviews, researching public records to determine prior criminal activity and assets, and taking photographs to aid in the settlement or trial of cases. A native of Yadkin County, he has a background in journalism, having worked for the Winston-Salem Journal. He has been with Lewis & Daggett since 1990.

Susana Muniz
Susana works with Dana Pack, Cindy Wiles and Arlene Southern to keep our offices running smoothly and ensure that all of our clients and potential clients are well taken care of. She has a reputation as a computer whiz and comes to Lewis & Daggett with previous experience as an administrative assistant in a legal practice. She also speaks fluent Spanish. Susana was born in Orange, CA and moved here in 1995. When she is not working, Susana enjoys spending time with her 2 beautiful daughters, playing tennis, shopping and going to the movies and the park

Dana Pack
Dana joined Lewis & Daggett in 2000 and since that time she has kept our office running smoothly for both our staff and our clients. From time to time, you may also see Dana’s smiling face at the front desk greeting clients and other visitors. Prior to joining the firm, Dana served four years in the U. S. Navy. Dana, her husband and their two children live in Walkertown. They enjoy spending time camping, and going to church and the beach.

Arlene Southern
Arlene joined Lewis & Daggett in 1995 and has over 20 years of experience in the legal field. She is responsible for virtually all incoming and outgoing correspondence in our office and always makes sure important documents are delivered on time. She also types correspondence for the partners and all of the discovery that is to be sent to opposing attorneys. Despite her busy schedule, she still makes time to bake goodies for the staff and clients. She and her husband have three grown children. Arlene is active in her church and enjoys gardening.

Cindy Wiles.
If you call or visit our Winston-Salem office, Cindy is most likely the first person you will meet. Known for her warm smile and professionalism, Cindy always makes sure that clients and potential clients are treated with kindness and respect and that they receive prompt assistance. A proud grandmother and a native of Forsyth County, Cindy joined the firm in 2002 and has nearly 20 years of experience.

LEGAL SUPPORT STAFF

Lisa Ashworth
Lisa joined Lewis & Daggett in July 2000 and currently serves as a Client Service Legal Assistant. She assists potential clients by gathering important information about their case. Lisa knows that many of the people she speaks with may have never contacted a law office before and prides herself on putting them at ease with her level of knowledge, friendliness and courtesy. Lisa and her family live in King and are active members in their church, where they enjoy teaching preschool Sunday school. They also enjoy supporting their son’s sporting and school events, as well as shopping and spending time at the beach.

Wendy Boling
Wendy serves as a Settlement/Liens Coordinator, taking charge of a client’s file after a settlement has been reached. She determines what, if any, liens are owed and makes sure that the case is disbursed properly. Wendy works with providers to get liens and other debts reduced so that the client can put more in their pocket. Wendy’s previous career as a licensed Life, Accident, and Health Insurance Agent with a Medicare/Long Term Care specialty serves her well in her position. Wendy is very active in the Moravian Church where she plays trumpet. She also enjoys ACC basketball, pro football, and crafts.

Thomas J. Boone
Tom is a Pre-litigation Legal Assistant with Lewis & Daggett. In his role, he assists in determining if potential clients have a case and if they do, is often assigned to the client to gather all pertinent information for the case and answer client questions. Tom also serves as the Assistant Director of Lewis & Daggett’s Safe and Sober Prom Night Program. He brings a vast amount of special event management experience, as well as enthusiasm and dedication to the position. His enthusiasm for this important cause is born out of his desire to help young people have positive influences and avoid potentially harmful situations as they move toward adulthood. Tom was born and raised in Winston-Salem and loves calling North Carolina home. He lives in Pfafftown with his wife and two daughters. He is an avid golfer and also enjoys music, movies and the study of history.

Rachelle M. Britt
Rachelle joined the Lewis & Daggett team in June 2008.  Rachelle currently works as a Legal Assistant in our Workers' Compensation Department.  Her primary responsibilities include case management for Workers' Compensation.  She earned as Associates Degree in Paralegal Technology from Forsyth Technical Community College and has 9 years experience in the Workers Compensation area.  Rachelle enjoys spending time with family and friends, riding her motocycle and working out.  She and her family presently reside in Winston-Salem.

Krztena O. Brooks
Krztena serves as a Legal Assistant in our Social Security Department .  Her duties include carrying a full case load of Social Security Disability cases, as well as assisting clients with potential cases.  She has 12 years of experience as a Social Security Disability legal assistant.  She is a native of southwest Virginia and a graduate of East Tennessee State University with a B.A. in Mass Communications.  Krztena and her husband reside in Winston Salem with their two cats and labrador retriever. 

Lisa Carter
Lisa is a Certified Paralegal and serves as a legal assistant in our Social Security Department. Her duties include carrying a full case load of Social Security Disability cases, as well as assisting clients with potential cases. She is a native of Winston-Salem and a graduate of High Point University with a B.S. in Business Administration. In addition, she is working on her Master’s Degree in her spare time. Lisa lives in Pfafftown with her husband and children and is a member of Union Baptist Church. She enjoys reading and spending time with her family.

Suzanne Collins
Suzanne is a Litigation Legal Assistant and Certified Paralegal with Lewis & Daggett. Her role includes preparing cases for trial and assisting the litigation attorney in all aspects of client and document preparation, discovery and litigation. Suzanne comes to the firm with 19 years prior legal experience which includes a background with personal injury and medical malpractice cases. She holds a degree in English from University of Arkansas at Little Rock and a Paralegal Certificate from South Central Career College, where she graduated first in her class. Suzanne enjoys refereeing basketball, soccer and roller hockey, as well as working with kids at the YMCA and spending time her fiancé and his son.

Ameriah Day
Ameriah is a recent addition to Lewis & Daggett who comes to the firm with three years prior experience in personal injury litigation.  Ameriah is a Certified Paralegal and serves as a Litigation Legal Assistant in our Personal Injury Department.  She earned an Associates Degree in Paralegal Technology (Phi Theta Kappa) from Guilford Technical Community College with certificates in Real Property, Bankruptcy, and Commercial Law.  She is a native of Colorado who moved to North Carolina in 2003.  When she is not working, Ameriah enjoys spending time with her daughter and 6 pets at their High Point home.

Gail Fisher
Gail is a Certified Paralegal and serves as a Pre-Litigation Legal Assistant in our Personal Injury department. Gail joined the firm in 2004. In her role, Gail assists in determining if potential clients have a case and if they do, is often assigned to the client to gather all pertinent information for the case and answer client questions. She is a graduate of Appalachian State University, with a B.A. in Anthropology and comes to Lewis and Daggett with previous legal experience in Personal Injury Law. She enjoys camping, hiking, travel and music.

Ann Fischer
Ann has been with Lewis and Daggett since 1989 and currently serves as a Client Service Legal Assistant. She assists potential clients by gathering important information about their case. Ann's primary responsibility is with the intake of new clients, customer service and client satisfaction. Ann's dedication and exceptional people skills are essential to the firm's commitment to our clients. Ann and her family reside in Clemmons.

Jennifer Glosson
Jennifer joined Lewis and Daggett in October 2007.  She serves in a hybrid role of Pre-Litigation and Litigation assistant.  Her primary duties include assisting the Chief Negotiator in handling insurance issues of a complex nature.  She has over four years of previous legal experience.  Jennifer lives in Greensboro with her family.  In her free time, Jennifer enjoys reading, scrap booking, baking and gardening.

Julie Greco
Julie is a Pre-litigation Legal Assistant and Client Service Legal Assistant. As part of her role, Julie assists potential clients by gathering important information about their case and assists in determining if potential clients have a case. If they do, Julie is often assigned to the client to gather all pertinent information for the case and answer client questions.
Julie was born and raised in Lynchburg, Virginia. She has an Associates Degree in Secretarial Science from Central Virginia Community College and over 15 years experience in the legal field. Julie lives in Winston-Salem and her husband and her two step-children and is a member of Bnai Yisrael. She enjoys volleyball, working out and spending time with her family.

Elvis Horning
Elvis is a recent addition to Lewis & Daggett and currently serves as a Pre-Litigation Legal Assistant where he assists in determining if potential clients have a case and if they do, is often assigned to the client to gather all pertinent information for the case and answer client questions. Elvis earned an Associates Paralegal Degree from Phillips Junior College in Northridge, CA. He also attended the University of West Los Angeles. Elvis has 11 years of pre-litigation and litigation personal injury experience for both the plaintiff and the defendant. In his free time, Elvis enjoys dancing, hiking and camping with his wife and son.

Shannon Humphrey
Shannon N. Humphey joined the Lewis & Daggett team in December 2007.  Shannon currenty works as a Legal Assistant in our Worker's Compensation Department.  Her primary responsibilities include case management for Worker's Compensation.  She is graduate of Salem College, where she obtained a BA Degree in English.  She has 4 years legal experience, including Worker's Compensation and Immigration.  Shannon enjoys spending time with family and friends and is a proud Duke fan.  She presently resides in Kernersville.

Anisa Johnson
Anisa joined Lewis and Daggett in October 2007 and currently serves as a Social Security Legal Assistant.  Her duties include carrying a full case load of Social Security disability claims, as well as assisting potential clients with any questions and concerns.  Anisa brings fourth patience, understanding and a strong desire to help those in need.  She received her Associates Degree in Business Administration from Guilford Technical Community College.  Along with knowledge of social security, Anisa has seven years prior legal experience in pre-litigation, workers compensation and criminal law.  Anisa is very close to her family community and church congregation.  She enjoys social gatherings, traveling to the beach, riding her bicycle, laughing out loud and being thankful for all that life has to offer.  Anisa and her husband presently reside in Greensboro with their beloved pet boxer “King”.

Sandra L. Lusk
Sandra joined the Lewis & Daggett team in January of 2007. She brings over 6 years of legal experience to our pre-litigation department. As a Legal Assistant, Sandra helps to identify prospective clients and to aide in the development of their claims. Sandra is a graduate of UNC Greensboro where she obtained a BS is Family Studies. A resident of Winston Salem, Sandra is married with two daughters and three sons. Much of her family's time is spent supporting their two youngest sons as they compete in BMX Racing from the local through the national level.

Nadine McClune
Nadine is a Certified Paralegal and currently works as a Workers' Compensation/Social Security Legal Assistant. She has been with the Lewis & Daggett since 1997. Her primary responsibilities include case management for Workers' Compensation, Social Security Disability and Long Term Disability. She is a member of the Celebration Committee which helps to promote a fun and enjoyable working environment. She has an Associates Degree for Legal Secretarial Technology from Gannon University in Erie, Pennsylvania. She is a native of southwestern New York. Nadine and her husband reside in Yadkin County with their two cats.

Dawn Needham
Dawn has been with the firm since 1996. She is a Certified Paralegal and currently serves as Negotiator and Pre-Litigation Legal Assistant. She has worked in the insurance field since 1994. She is a licensed North Carolina Insurance Adjuster and holds an Associate in Claims (AIC) designation from the Insurance Institute of America. Her primary responsibilities are in pre-litigation, with an emphasis on insurance claims settlements and property damage claims. As a negotiator, Dawn deals directly with claims adjusters to fight for what our clients’ injuries are worth. She has an Associates Degree in Business and is a graduate of Salem College with a B.A. degree in International Relations.

Ashley Robbins
Ashley joined Lewis & Daggett in March, 2004, and has 12 years of litigation experience. She is a Certified Paralegal and currently works as a Litigation Legal Assistant. Her role includes preparing cases for trial and assisting the litigation attorney in all aspects of client and document preparation, discovery and litigation of the case. Ashley received a B.S. from Meredith College and Paralegal Certification from Davidson County Community College. In addition, she previously taught paralegal classes at Forsyth Technical Community College. In her free time, Ashley enjoys being with her husband and their two daughters. She loves water sports, boating and swimming.

Donna Tankersley
Donna joined Lewis & Daggett in June of 2008 as the Medical Records Review Coordinator.  She serves the clients by screening and analyzing their medical records; provides assistance to attorneys and staff on medical record issues; and works at maintaining and enhancing client relationships.  Donna is both a seasoned registered nurse and an educator.  She is a native of West Virginia, a proud mother, married, and lives in High Point.            

Melissa Taylor
Melissa is a Certified Paralegal and works as a Pre-Litigation and Litigation Legal Assistant to Michael J Lewis. She has been a licensed N.C. Insurance Adjuster since 1997 and has several years of previous litigation experience, which is a tremendous asset to our clients. Her role includes assisting in determining if potential clients have a case and if they do, she is often assigned to the client to gather all pertinent information for the case and answer client questions. She also assists in preparing cases for trial and assisting the litigation attorney in all aspects of client and document preparation, discovery and litigation of the case. Melissa graduated with a BS in Child and Adolescent Development from UNC - Greensboro. She loves spending time with family and friends. 

Susan Wingfield
Susan joined Lewis & Daggett in March of 2008 as a Pre-Litigation Legal Assistant in our Personal Injury Department.  As a Legal Assistant, Susan assists clients in the development of their claims.  She has over 18 years experience as a certifield paralegal.  She lives in Danville, Virginia with her husband, Barry, two daughters and four American Quarter Horses that they raise and train for competition in the sport of reining.

MANAGEMENT STAFF

Linda Davis
Linda has been with the firm since 1995 and currently serves as our Client Services and Recruitment Manager. In her role she oversees the recruitment of new employees and makes sure all of our potential clients are being handled well. She also ensures that all of our settlement statements are accurate and in compliance with State Bar Regulations. She has worked in the legal field since 1989 in the areas of bankruptcy, civil litigation, corporate law and collections. Linda, a native of Forsyth County, received a B.S. degree is Business Education (cum laude) from NC Central University and an Associate Degree in Paralegal Technology (Phi Theta Kappa) from Forsyth Technical Community College. Linda and her husband have two adult children and five grandchildren. They enjoy traveling and weekly family gatherings.

Karen B. Googe
Karen has been with the firm since 1998 and has more than 20 years of legal experience. She currently serves as our Law Office Administrator. Her duties include the overall management of the firm's operations including human resources, technology, operations, and facility management. She is also the Director of Safe Sober Prom Night, a non-profit organization founded by Lewis & Daggett, that empowers teens to stay safe and sober during prom night. Karen currently serves as President Elect in the Triad Chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators and serves as a member of the Law Practice Management Section of the NC Bar Association.  She attended Greensboro College and Surry Community College where she earned Associate Degrees. Karen and her husband reside in Forsyth County with their three daughters. Karen is active in her church and enjoys cheering for her daughters on the basketball court, volleyball court, and the softball field.

Douglas E. Nauman
Doug has been with the firm since 1995 and works as our Senior Negotiator – ensuring our clients get the most compensation for their injuries. Doug holds a B.S. degree in finance, magna cum laude, from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and an MBA., with distinction, from Wake Forest. Doug is presently working his law degree at North Carolina Central University School of Law. He has worked in the finance and insurance fields since 1984, most extensively in the area of automobile insurance claims. He is a licensed North Carolina Insurance Adjuster and holds an Associate in Claims (AIC) designation from the Insurance Institute of America, and is a current candidate in the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) program of the American Institute for Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters. Doug is also a member of the adjunct faculty at Randolph Community College where he teaches business finance and insurance. Doug and his wife have one daughter.
