Scott Beal was recently sworn in as an attorney in the State of North Carolina at a ceremony in Superior Court of Forsyth County. Scott joined Lewis & Daggett in 2008 after he and his family decided to relocate to the Winston-Salem area. He has over 15 years of litigation experience and focuses his practice in the area of personal-injury. Scott is devoted to helping injured people and is experienced in handling complex motor vehicle collisions, commercial vehicle litigation, construction site negligence, and premises liability matters.
He completed his undergraduate work at University of South Florida in 1991 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science. He graduated from Loyola University School of Law in 1994. Prior to receiving his Juris Doctor degree, he actively worked in the area of law, working his way through university by training law students in legal research. Beal remained in New Orleans and took a position with a local law firm and began his work in the area of personal injury. Over the years he has obtained just compensation for those he represents and holds corporations and insurance companies accountable for their actions and tirelessly perseveres for his clients
He is also a fellow in the National College of Advocacy, having attended nearly 300 hours of lectures and presentations focusing on litigation strategy and techniques. Scott is also a speaker and moderator for events by the National College of Advocacy and the American Association for Justice. His experience in commercial trucking cases also lead to an article published in Trial magazine which focused on the relationship between owners and operators of commercial vehicles in all fifty states. Scott Beal is also a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, Illinois State Trial Lawyers Association, Louisiana State Bar Association and the Mississippi State Bar Association.
