In Memory of Rusty Harpe<http://www.lewisdaggett.com/P><http://www.lewisdaggett.com/B>

        This past week Lewis & Daggett <http://www.lewisdaggett.com/FONT><http://www.lewisdaggett.com/U><http://www.lewisdaggett.com/FONT><http://www.lewisdaggett.com/A>was proud to sponsor the Annual Rusty Harpe Memorial 200 and to honor the memory of Rusty Harpe again this year. Soon after an accident that took the life of his son, Chip Harpe, along with his wife Lynne and many family friends, set out to organize a race to commemorate the life of Rusty. <http://www.lewisdaggett.com/P>

<http://www.lewisdaggett.com/P>

      Rusty Harpe was a regular competitor and the driver of the #71 Late Model Stock Car at Caraway Speedway. During Rusty’s driving career he won a number of events and was a well liked and respected driver. The drivers, crew, and track support personnel are a tight-knit group who care about and support each other. <http://www.lewisdaggett.com/P>

     The Harpe family welcomed everyone with warmth and the same enthusiasm that Rusty always had for everybody and every race. Our Lewis & Daggett team enjoyed our time at the race supporting this annual event. We had the opportunity to meet again with the Harpe family and to all meet the many race fans.<http://www.lewisdaggett.com/P>

     Yesterday’s race was a great event full of fun and camaraderie. It was overwhelmingly evident that Rusty was well loved, respected and a huge part of the racing community. It was like watching a family as you observed the drivers, crew, and track support personnel together — all sharing past stories and triumphs. The Lewis & Daggett team felt an affinity with this community and the ever-increasing bond with the Harpe family.<http://www.lewisdaggett.com/P>

       The 27 members of our Lewis & Daggett team that attended the race were honored to be a part of a very special event. It was a fun night full of great memories and meeting special people. We thank the Harpe family for including us so that we could pay tribute to #71, Rusty Harpe.<http://www.lewisdaggett.com/P>
